Lead external audit engagements from planning through to completion, including risk assessment and internal control evaluation
Manage a portfolio of audit clients across a variety of industries
Supervise and mentor junior team members, providing technical guidance and performance feedback
Review working papers and ensure audit files are completed in line with firm methodology and Australian Auditing Standards
Communicate directly with clients, building trusted relationships and adding value through insights and recommendations
Liaise with Partners and Managers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of audit assignments
Contribute to ongoing process improvement and knowledge sharing within the audit division
Skills & Experience Required
CA/CPA qualified or near completion
Minimum 3–5 years of external audit experience, ideally within a mid-tier or top-tier firm
Strong technical knowledge of Australian Accounting and Auditing Standards
Experience managing audits from planning to completion
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
Ability to lead and develop a small team
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
Experience with CaseWare and/or other audit software (advantageous)
