Administrator

A well established accounting firm located in Melbourne's CBD are looking for their next administrator to join their team. With growth plans and a progressive team, the opportunity has opened up for someone with proven administration experience to join the tight-knit family vibe team. 

Responsibilities 
  • Actioning incoming and outgoing mail
  • Reception cover
  • Maintaining database
  • Providing general administration support to the managers and administration team 
  • Appointment booking and meeting room management 
  • Assisting clients and staff with queries
  • Document management and preparation
  • Collation and lodgement of tax returns and BAS
  • TFN and ABN applications 
  • Regular dealings with the ATO
  • ASIC and Corporate secretary functions - annual statements, change in details, share transfers 
  • General administration duties such as booking appointments, banking, deliveries, scanning documents, maintaining a clean and tidy work environment etc.
About you
  • 1-2 years previous experience in an accounting firm or the professional services industry 
  • Previous experience with accounting software (XERO, MYOB, APS)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Willingness to learn and be challenged
