Accounts and Admin
We’re partnered with an international leader in laboratory testing and research, operating across global markets and headquartered right here on the Gold Coast. With 19 employees and over $5M in annual revenue, this growing business is seeking an Accountant to take ownership of all accounting and administrative operations.
This could be a full time or part time position, on-site based in Burleigh Heads, QLD, working closely alongside the Director and providing leadership across finance and administration.
About the Role - Invoicing, accounts payable, and receivables
- Payroll management
- Ensuring compliance with AASB and IFRS standards
- Preparing documentation for audit and compliance purposes
- Reviewing source documentation and ensuring accurate revenue recognition
- Streamlining and improving systems and processes to support business growth
You'll Bring: - Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3+ years’ experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong understanding of AASB and IFRS standards
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
- High level of proficiency in Excel
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities
- Experience with MYOB, Acumatica, or Xero (preferred, not essential)
- A motivated, energetic attitude and passion for improving systems and processes
