Application Specialist (Bilingual Mandarin) We are actively recruiting for an Application Specialist (Bilingual Mandarin) position for a medium-sized boutique Mortgage firm 

A well-established Mortgage brokerage firm is seeking an Application Specialist to join their North Shore-based team.

They pride themselves on their supportive, friendly culture and potential to grow with their business. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with Advisers in a business that truly values quality, professionalism and team collaboration.

The role:
1. Credit Analysis
  • Review client information and provide analysis before application submission.
  • Work with advisers to finalise the proposal.
2. Application Preparation & Submission
  • Prepare and submit loan applications.
  • Respond to lender queries and follow up as needed.
  • Update clients on progress and key steps.
3. Approval Review & Client Guidance
  • Review loan approvals and approval conditions.
  • Help clients understand approval conditions and required actions.
  • Check property suitability.
  • Coordinate settlement preparation and guide clients through the process.
4. Client & Stakeholder Coordination
  • Liaise with lenders, valuers, lawyers, accountants, insurers, and other partners.
  • Support advisers with clear and timely communication.
5. Process Improvement & Compliance
  • Help improve internal processes for better efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain compliance and keep internal records updated.

The Successful applicant?
  • Fluent in both English and Mandarin, with excellent written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a mortgage lending role.
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive attitude.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • A proactive learner and a genuine team player who contributes positively to the workplace.
