The Role
This full-time, in-office role supports the Finance Manager and broader accounting team by delivering accurate financial information and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the finance function. It's an ideal opportunity for a detail-oriented individual looking to further their career in accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end reporting processes
• Prepare journals, reconciliations, and accruals
• Support accounts payable and receivable functions as needed
• Maintain fixed asset register and assist with depreciation calculations
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare BAS and other compliance reporting
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis to management

About You

• Degree qualified in Accounting or Finance (or currently completing)
• Studying towards CA/CPA (desirable but not essential)
• 1–3 years' experience in an accounting or assistant accountant role
• Strong Excel and systems skills (experience with ERP systems advantageous)
• Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
