Banking & Finance Lawyer – Associate/Senior Associate (2–6+ PAE) Brisbane – Full-time, Permanent An esteemed law firm in Brisbane’s CBD is currently looking for a motivated Banking & Finance Lawyer to join its thriving finance team. The firm acts for major lenders, borrowers and sponsors across a varied portfolio of transactions and offers a supportive, collegiate environment with an eye toward growth.
The Role You will:
- Advise on and manage a variety of financing transactions (including acquisition finance, asset and equipment finance, and revolving credit facilities)
- Draft and review loan documentation, security packages and ancillary agreements
- Assist with refinancing, restructuring and work‑out matters
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders including banks, lenders and borrowers
- Work within a strong team‑culture and have the opportunity to mentor more junior lawyers

About You - 2–6 years post‑admission (or equivalent) experience in banking & finance law
- Strong drafting and negotiation skills, combined with commercial awareness
- Ability to self‑manage whilst working collaboratively in a team
- Excellent communication, attention to detail and time‑management abilities
- Australian practising certificate (or ability to obtain) and full working rights
