Bookkeeper to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our firm, providing critical support both internally and to our clients across various industries.

Key Responsibilities: As our Bookkeeper, you will handle the day-to-day financial data and processes for both the firm and its clients. Your responsibilities will include:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Managing invoicing, processing bills, and ensuring timely payment collection.
- Bank and Account Reconciliations: Performing accurate and timely reconciliation of all bank accounts, credit cards, and key balance sheet accounts.
- Payroll Processing: Managing weekly, fortnightly, or monthly payroll using various software, including processing superannuation and lodging Single Touch Payroll (STP) reports.
- BAS/IAS Lodgement: Preparation and lodgement of Business Activity Statements (BAS) and Instalment Activity Statements (IAS).
- Data Entry and Integrity: Maintaining accurate financial records and client files, ensuring all transactions are correctly classified.
- Software Management: Working across multiple accounting software platforms, primarily Xero and MYOB, with proficiency in other cloud-based tools being a bonus.
- General Ledger Maintenance: Assisting with month-end and year-end procedures as required by the accountants.
What We’re Looking For: - Proven experience as a Bookkeeper, ideally within an accounting firm or working with multiple clients.
- Current BAS Agent registration is highly desirable.
- Expert proficiency with cloud-based accounting software, especially Xero and MYOB.
- Strong understanding of Australian tax, GST, and payroll legislation.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills—you'll be speaking directly with clients and staff regularly.
