Bookkeeper & Admin I am seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our clients public practice accounting firm. 

Main Duties:
Bookkeeping:
  • Manage and maintain accurate financial records.
  • Record transactions, balance accounts, and reconcile financial statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal procedures.
  • Prepare financial reports as required.
Admin Support:
  • Handle correspondence with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), including tax-related inquiries and document management.
  • Assist with Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) tasks, such as filing reports and maintaining company records.
Client Interaction:
  • Greet clients upon arrival, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Offer refreshments like coffee and tea to clients, contributing to an excellent client experience.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software (MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks).
  • A sound understanding of ATO and ASIC requirements and Australian tax systems.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organised, managing both financial and administrative tasks.
