Bookkeeper & Admin
I am seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper to join our clients public practice accounting firm.
Main Duties:
Bookkeeping:
- Manage and maintain accurate financial records.
- Record transactions, balance accounts, and reconcile financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and internal procedures.
- Prepare financial reports as required.
Admin Support: - Handle correspondence with the Australian Taxation Office (ATO), including tax-related inquiries and document management.
- Assist with Australian Securities & Investments Commission (ASIC) tasks, such as filing reports and maintaining company records.
Client Interaction: - Greet clients upon arrival, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere.
- Offer refreshments like coffee and tea to clients, contributing to an excellent client experience.
Ideal Skills and Experience: - Proficiency in bookkeeping software (MYOB, Xero, QuickBooks).
- A sound understanding of ATO and ASIC requirements and Australian tax systems.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and stay organised, managing both financial and administrative tasks.
