CFO Bookkeeper Are you a detail-driven Bookkeeper who also loves working with people? This role will see you step beyond the numbers, building genuine client relationships and working on-site with businesses across a variety of industries.

We're partnered with a national accounting and advisory firm with a strong reputation for helping businesses grow and succeed. Through our CFO Advisory Division, we partner with clients to deliver tailored financial management and strategic support, acting as a true extension of their team.

As a Bookkeeper in our CFO Advisory team, you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with clients, managing their day-to-day financial operations while supporting long-term business outcomes. This is a hands-on role with variety, client interaction, and plenty of scope for career progression.

The Role:
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Payroll processing, including superannuation and entitlements
  • Bank, credit card, and general ledger reconciliations
  • BAS, IAS, and GST preparation and lodgement
  • Assisting with month-end processes and financial reports
  • Supporting cash flow forecasting and budgeting alongside the CFO Advisory team
  • Maintaining accurate, up-to-date records across multiple clients
About You
  • 3–4 years’ bookkeeping experience (experience in an accounting firm highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge of GST, BAS, payroll, and compliance requirements
  • Proficient across cloud accounting software (Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks)
  • Excellent communicator with the confidence to build strong client relationships
  • Organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple priorities
  • Cert IV in Bookkeeping/Accounting or equivalent qualifications (preferred)
