Commercial Insurance Broker
About the Role:
We’re seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Broker to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll work closely with a range of business clients—from SMEs to larger enterprises—helping them identify and manage their risk exposure through tailored insurance solutions. You’ll be responsible for building and maintaining strong client relationships, handling renewals, and placing new business across various industries.
Key Responsibilities:
● Manage a portfolio of commercial clients across industries such as construction, retail, manufacturing, and professional services
● Provide expert advice on insurance solutions including property, liability, business interruption, motor fleet, and more
● Prepare and present quotes, negotiate with underwriters, and secure competitive coverage
● Handle policy renewals, endorsements, and mid-term adjustments
● Support clients through claims processes, liaising with insurers to ensure smooth and fair outcomes
● Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and insurers
● Stay current with industry changes, emerging risks, and insurance products
What We’re Looking For:
● Proven experience as a Commercial Insurance Broker or in a similar client-facing insurance role
● Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (or working towards)
● Strong understanding of commercial lines and risk management
● Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills
● Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities
Bonus Points:
● Experience managing SME or construction-focused portfolios
● Familiarity with major broking platforms and insurer portals
