Credit Writer to join their growing team. This is a key role focused on preparing high-quality loan applications that meet lender standards and increase the chances of approval.
About the Role As a Credit Writer, you’ll be responsible for drafting and reviewing loan applications with a high degree of accuracy, structure, and compliance. You’ll collaborate closely with brokers, lenders, and clients to compile, organise, and present financial data in a clear and compelling format.
Key Responsibilities - Prepare and structure loan applications for submission
- Review financial documents to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Liaise with clients and lenders to gather and clarify information
- Manage multiple applications while meeting strict deadlines
- Ensure all applications meet lender guidelines and regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For - Industry Experience: Prior experience writing or reviewing loans within a bank, non-bank lender, or mortgage brokerage
- Attention to Detail: Strong ability to analyse and refine financial information
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication
- Organisation: Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Work Eligibility: Must have the right to work in New Zealand and be available for an office-based role in Auckland
