Employment Lawyer | 2+ PAE
A dynamic opportunity has arisen for a talented Lawyer or Associate (2–5 years PAE) to join a growing and highly respected Workplace Relations, Employment & Safety (WRES) team within a leading national law firm. This role offers the chance to work across a full spectrum of employment law and WHS advisory and litigation, under the guidance of two industry-recognised Partners.
The Role This position will see you advising a broad client base on complex workplace and safety matters. You’ll work in an environment that values collaboration, learning, and exposure to high-profile issues affecting employers across various sectors.
Key areas of work include:
- General employment and industrial relations advisory
- Enterprise bargaining and workplace agreement drafting
- Unfair dismissal and general protections matters
- WHS investigations, enforcement, and compliance advice
- Representing clients in Fair Work Commission and court proceedings
About You You will bring:
- 2–5 years post-admission experience in employment law and/or WHS
- Demonstrated ability to advise clients across a broad range of WRES matters
- Sound knowledge of the Fair Work Act, WHS legislation, and relevant case law
- Strong communication and drafting skills
- A team-focused attitude and interest in learning from senior practitioners
- Commitment to delivering high-quality service and building long-term client relationships
