Seeking a commercially minded Financial Analyst to join the team. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical finance skills with a passion for delivering insights that drive strategic decision-making.
Role Overview The Financial Analyst will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis across multiple business units. You'll collaborate with regional and global stakeholders, using your financial acumen and tools expertise to support data-driven planning and business growth.
Key Responsibilities - Deliver monthly financial reporting and performance analysis, including revenue and expense variance analysis.
- Support annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range planning processes.
- Build and maintain robust financial models and dashboards using Excel and business intelligence (BI) tools (e.g. Power BI).
- Provide commercial insights and scenario modelling to support new projects and investment decisions.
- Partner with business leads across sales, marketing, licensing, and operations to provide accurate and actionable financial insights.
- Support compliance with financial controls, internal policies, and external audit requirements.
- Assist in preparing presentations and reports for senior leadership.
Requirements - CA or CPA qualification (completed or near completion) is essential.
- 2–4 years’ experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or a related role.
- Advanced Excel skills (formulas, financial modelling, scenario analysis).
- Hands-on experience with BI/reporting tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) is highly desirable.
- Experience with ERP or planning systems such as SAP, TM1, Oracle, or similar.
- Strong analytical mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
- Previous experience in media, entertainment, consumer goods, or tech industries is an advantage.
