Finance Business Partner Key responsibilities include:
  • Ownership of cost and revenue profiles, providing insight into business performance
  • Supporting month-end activities including journals, inventory valuation, royalty reporting and reconciliation processes (JDE environment)
  • Working closely with operational sites (including plant visits and stocktakes) to ensure accuracy and understanding of financials
  • Developing business cases and supporting capital investment decisions (2-3 year horizon)
  • Driving budgeting, forecasting and planning processes
  • Delivering true business partnering,  influencing stakeholders and supporting decision-making
  • Leading continuous improvement initiatives across systems, processes and efficiencies
While the role currently retains a level of traditional accounting responsibility (40%), there is a clear direction towards greater automation, allowing the successful candidate to focus more on value-add commercial activities over time.
This role also offers strong exposure to senior stakeholders, sitting within the regional management team and interacting with senior leadership across APAC.

Ideal candidate profile
  • Experienced Finance Business Partner (not junior level)
  • Background combining strong technical accounting with commercial finance
  • Experience in product-based or industrial environments (highly regarded)
  • Proven ability to develop business cases and support capital investment decisions
  • Comfortable working across both detail-oriented and strategic responsibilities
  • Strong communication skills with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders
  • Demonstrated experience driving process and system improvements
