HR Manager
This is a newly created role to build the HR function properly for a mid-sized professional services firm in the CBD. They are currently seeing 30 percent revenue growth and are planning for an internal team merger.
The Managing Partner wants a peer who can see where things are stalling and tell the Partners how to fix it. They are looking for someone who doesn't need a manual and is comfortable making their own decisions.
The Focus Leading the internal team merger involves keeping the culture and systems consistent as the business grows. A big part of the remit is creating a career framework that shows the exact path from a Graduate to a Partner.
The role comes with the autonomy to set new standards across the board. You’ll also act as a consultant for the firm’s clients, giving them HR advice as part of the firm's professional services. You'll manage the internal support team, including an HR assistant, and have the authority to decide how that team is structured.
About You You have at least 5 years of experience in professional services like Accounting or Law. You understand how partnerships work and you are comfortable giving direct advice to Partners. You are self-directed and happy to handle both the high-level planning and the actual fixing.
- Salary is between 135k and 165k plus super.
- The title is flexible.
- You will have complete autonomy to design the function as you see fit with no red tape or layers of corporate approval.
