Intermediate Accountant
Are you ready to step up in your accounting career? We’re on the hunt for an experienced Business Services Accountant to join a dynamic and growing firm in East Brisbane. You’ll work alongside a talented team, manage your own portfolio of clients, and gain exposure to high-net-worth individuals and diverse industries, including Medical, Construction, and Legal.
What You’ll Be Doing: - Preparing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS for a variety of clients – from Trusts and Companies to Partnerships and Individuals
- Managing client communication and liaising with the ATO regarding payments, extensions, and arrangements
- Reviewing payroll tax returns, FBT returns, and other compliance work
- Collaborating with a supportive team and gaining direct mentorship from experienced Partners with Top Tier and Big 4 background
About You: - Degree qualified in Accounting or similar
- 2+ years’ public practice experience
- Working towards or completed CA/CPA
- Confident communicator who can handle client-facing responsibilities early on
- Experience with Xero, XPM, and FYI Docs is a bonus
