The Role:
You won't just be a "back-room" number cruncher. You’ll be working directly with clients to help them understand their financial health and plan for the future.

Your day-to-day will involve:

• Preparing financial statements and tax returns for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.
• Assisting with Business Activity Statements (BAS) and FBT returns.
• Providing cloud accounting support (Xero/MYOB) to help clients streamline their operations.
• Developing your skills in tax planning and business advisory under the mentorship of our Senior Partners.
• Building genuine relationships with Mackay’s local business community.

What You Bring:

• Education: Degree qualified and currently undertaking (or looking to start) your CA or CPA qualification.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Xero and common tax software.
• Communication: You can explain a P&L statement without making someone's eyes glaze over.
• The Mackay Spirit: A proactive attitude and a desire to contribute to the local community.
