supportive work culture, continuous professional development, and a strong commitment to work-life balance. The Opportunity: We are seeking
two dedicated Intermediate Accountants with a solid foundation in Australian accounting principles and tax law. In this role, you'll manage your own varied portfolio, acting as a key point of contact for clients, and providing timely and accurate financial and taxation services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of financial statements, income tax returns, and activity statements for individuals, partnerships, trusts, and companies.
- Managing client relationships and effectively communicating complex financial and tax information.
- Providing proactive tax planning and general business advice to clients under the supervision of Seniors/Managers.
- Assisting with advisory projects and compliance work.
- Maintaining high-quality workpapers and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.
What You'll Bring:
- Experience: 2-4 years of experience working within an Australian Public Practice accounting firm.
- Education: A tertiary qualification in Accounting (or equivalent).
- Technical Skills: Strong technical knowledge of Australian taxation law and accounting standards. Proficiency with key accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB) and tax preparation software.
- Commitment: A desire to pursue or currently studying towards a CA/CPA qualification (study support provided by Our Client).
- Soft Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a high level of attention to detail, and a proven ability to manage deadlines.
