Manager - Business Services & Tax Mid-Tier Accounting Firm
An established and growing mid-tier accounting firm in Adeladie CBD is seeking an experienced Manager to join its Business Services & Tax division.
The firm operates with two high-performing teams within Business Services & Tax:
- A team specialising in agriculture and small business clients, including family groups and primary producers
- A second team managing a diverse mixed client portfolio, spanning companies, trusts and complex group structures
There is genuine flexibility to move clients between teams, allowing the role to be shaped around strengths, interests, and development goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing and reviewing tax compliance for companies, trusts and individuals
- Delivering tax planning and advisory services including structuring, CGT, FBT and Division 7A
- Acting as a trusted advisor and primary contact for key clients
- Leading, mentoring and developing junior staff
- Working closely with Partners on workflow management and client strategy
About you:
- CA or CPA qualified
- Proven experience at Manager or strong Assistant Manager level in public practice
- Strong technical skills across Business Services & Tax
- Confident communicator with a client-focused approach
- Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide teams
