Core Goal: Ensure accurate, compliant, and timely end-to-end payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities
Process end-to-end fortnightly/monthly payroll for all employees.
Ensure accurate calculations of wages, superannuation, PAYG tax, allowances, and deductions, adhering strictly to Australian Awards/EAs and legislation.
Process new hires, terminations, and leave entitlements (including long service leave).
Manage and submit Single Touch Payroll (STP) reporting and process annual finalisations.
Liaise with the ATO and relevant authorities for statutory compliance (e.g., Payroll Tax).
Serve as the primary point of contact for all internal payroll queries.
Reconcile payroll GL accounts and assist with reporting.
Required Skills & Experience
3+ years demonstrated experience in Australian end-to-end payroll processing.
In-depth knowledge of Australian payroll legislation, Fair Work, and Superannuation Guarantee.
Proficiency with MicrOpay).
Ability to handle highly confidential information discreetly.
