Payroll Officer We are currently working with a client seeking an experienced payroll officer to join a growing and collaborative team.
  
This is a full-time position SOR, ideal for an experienced and motivated Payroll Specialist who thrives in a fast paced environment. The Payroll Officer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery of weekly payroll.

Key responsibilities:
  • Process weekly payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with legislation.
  • Manage employee entitlements, salary changes, back pay and termination payments
  • Maintain payroll records, superannuation, payroll tax, LSL and statutory requirements.
  • Provide payroll advice and support to employees and management.
  • Collaborate with HR/Finance and drive process improvements.
What we are looking for:
  • 2-5 years experience
  • Proficient in payroll systems, spreadsheets and payroll software  
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines and provide reliable payroll support
  • Knowledge of payroll legislation, awards, superannuation & workers’ compensation
