Senior Associate Litigation
Senior Associate – Litigation An exciting opportunity has arisen for a strong Associate or Senior Associate to join a high performing, specialist boutique firm focusing predominantly on high-end disputes, corporate law, banking & finance and commercial law. Within the role you will be dealing with a broad range of litigation matters such as commercial litigation, intellectual property infringements, employment issues, contractual disagreements, employment litigation and corporate litigation.
Key responsibilities: - Manage a portfolio of commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution & assist partners with more complex matters.
- Draft and review legal documents including pleadings, affidavits and submissions
- Provide strategic legal advice to clients on risk management and dispute resolution
- Conduct client interviews to gather pertinent information throughout litigation procedures
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, arbitrations and settlement negotiations
- Supervise, delegate work and train junior lawyers within the team.
About you: 4 + Years of post – admission experience (PAE) in commercial litigation or dispute resolution
Strong technical legal skills and commercial acumen
Experience with court procedures and case management in superior courts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
