Senior Auditor
Senior Auditor We are recruiting a Senior Auditor for our client, who is a top 20 accounting firm and part of a large international network.
This role provides exposure to a strong portfolio of mining and ASX listed audits and suits an experienced auditor ready to take ownership of engagements from start to finish.
The role - Lead and deliver external audits from planning through to completion
- Assist with audit planning, risk assessments and materiality calculations
- Work on mining and listed entity clients
- Manage audit timelines and budgets for assigned engagements
- Review work prepared by junior auditors and provide coaching and on the job training
- Identify audit issues and propose practical solutions
- Ensure compliance with auditing standards and internal quality control requirements
- Coordinate with client finance teams to obtain information and resolve queries
- Prepare and review audit files, financial statements and audit reports
- Report audit progress, issues and outcomes to managers and partners
About you - 4+ years external audit experience within a professional services firm
- Strong CaseWare experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage audits end to end
- Experience reviewing junior staff work
- Comfortable working directly with managers and partners
- CA or CPA qualified or working towards
- Must be fluent in English
