The Opportunity:
As a Senior Manager, you will play a critical role in the firm’s operations and growth. You will be responsible for overseeing a substantial fee base, delivering high-level advisory services, and leading a team of talented accountants. Key Responsibilities:

• Client Strategy: Lead the delivery of complex tax planning, business restructuring, and strategic advisory for a diverse portfolio of SMEs and high-net-worth groups.
• Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, and develop a team of intermediate and senior accountants, ensuring high standards of technical accuracy and professional growth.
• Practice Management: Oversee workflow, WIP management, and billing for your division, ensuring commercial targets and quality benchmarks are met.
• Relationship Management: Act as the key advisor and primary point of contact for significant clients, fostering long-term partnerships and identifying value-add opportunities.
• Business Development: Contribute to firm growth by identifying new business opportunities and participating in prospective client engagements.

What You'll Bring:

• Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of experience within an Australian Public Practice accounting firm, with a proven track record in a managerial capacity.
• Qualifications: Full CA or CPA qualification is mandatory.
• Technical Depth: Comprehensive knowledge of Australian taxation law and financial reporting standards, particularly for complex family groups and trading entities.
• Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage a team, delegate effectively, and foster a collaborative work culture.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and simplify complex financial concepts.
