Client: Our client is a specialist SMSF practice currently experiencing rapid, organic growth. They are seeking a
Senior SMSF Accountant to join their expanding team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with the Manager of the Accounting team to help deliver over 850 SMSF tax returns and audits annually.
You’ll be responsible for coordinating with internal and offshore teams, liaising directly with clients, and managing relationships with external audit service providers to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of client returns.
Key Responsibilities: - Report directly to the Accounting Manager
- Communicate professionally and effectively with clients
- Support other business areas by resolving queries as needed
- Review and deliver SMSF returns within set timeframes
- Collaborate with external auditors and service providers
What You’ll Need: - 3+ years' experience in an SMSF-focused role (experience with returns preferred)
- Relevant accounting degree or tertiary qualification
- Proficiency in XERO, BGL/CLASS, and Microsoft Windows
- Strong time management and organisational skills
- A proactive and motivated attitude
