About the Role
This position will suit an accountant with a solid grounding in SMSF compliance who's ready to step into a more involved and progressive environment. You'll be managing your own client portfolio, working closely with senior specialists, and developing skills that extend beyond traditional accounting and reporting.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end compliance process for a portfolio of SMSFs
• Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, and associated ATO lodgements
• Liaise with auditors and ensure all reporting requirements are met accurately and on time
• Assist with research and advisory matters, including contributions, pensions, and taxation strategies
• Support client meetings and relationship management as your confidence and technical expertise grow

Skills & Experience

• Minimum two years' experience in public practice with hands-on SMSF exposure
• Progressing toward CA or CPA qualification (or equivalent)
• Confident using SMSF administration software such as Class or similar
• Sound understanding of SIS legislation and compliance requirements
• Strong attention to detail, organisation, and communication skills
• A proactive attitude and genuine interest in building a career within the SMSF field
