We're partnered with a forward thinking mid-tier firm in Brisbane and are looking for a Tax Manager who excels at the intersection of technical mastery and people leadership. The Role: As Tax Manager, you will be the technical driving force of the team, bridging the gap between complex legislative requirements and practical business solutions.
- Lead complex projects including business restructures, tax consolidations, international tax matters, and succession planning.
- Take an active role in shaping the next generation of accountants, fostering a culture of technical excellence and professional growth.
- Oversee the preparation and review of income tax returns, FBT, CGT, and Division 7A, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy.
- Work side-by-side with Directors and Partners to enhance service offerings and drive business development.
About you: - CA/CPA qualified with a background in Accounting, Law, or a Master of Tax.
- Extensive experience in Div 7A, CGT, FBT, and tax effect accounting within a reputable professional services firm.
- Someone who genuinely enjoys mentoring staff and building confidence in junior team members.
- The ability to translate "tax-speak" into clear, strategic advice that clients can trust and act upon.
