Meet Stephen

Stephen is an Associate Director in the Sydney Commerce team at The Andersen Partnership, specialising exclusively in the contract and temporary finance market across New South Wales. He recruits across both transactional and qualified finance, partnering with organisations ranging from SMEs through to ASX-listed businesses to deliver high-calibre interim talent. His areas of expertise include Payroll, Accounts Payable & Receivable, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, FP&A, Finance Business Partnering and senior finance leadership appointments.

Before joining TAP in 2023, Stephen spent more than three years recruiting within the Sydney Real Estate market, building a reputation for developing long-term relationships and delivering an honest, consultative approach. He also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business and has lived and worked in New York, Dublin and Mallorca, experiences that have helped shape his commercial mindset and ability to connect with people from all backgrounds.

Away from recruitment, Stephen has a passion for endurance sport and continually challenges himself outside his comfort zone. He has completed multiple marathons, ultra-marathons and Australia's renowned 777 Marathon challenge. In 2023, he became the youngest person to run the full length of Ireland, raising more than €70,000 for two local charities. The resilience, discipline and determination required to complete these challenges are qualities he brings to every client and candidate relationship.
