An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Business Support Manager to join a highly regarded commercial law firm in Sydney CBD. Working directly alongside the Managing Director, you'll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day running of the business, supporting operations, client relationships and strategic growth initiatives.

This is a varied, hands-on position suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys taking ownership, and wants to become an integral part of a collaborative, high-performing team.

The Role
Working closely with the Managing Director and the operations manager, you'll play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly by managing priorities, coordinating workflows and supporting business operations.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Managing the Managing Director's diary, meetings and travel
  • Following up with lawyers to ensure key tasks, deadlines and workflows remain on track
  • Supporting day-to-day business operations and administrative functions
  • Assisting with client relationship management and business development initiatives
  • Taking ownership of operational responsibilities and driving process improvements
  • Acting as a trusted right-hand support to the Managing Director

About You
We're looking for someone with around 5 years' experience in a similar role who is proactive, organised and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

Ideally, you'll have:
  • Experience as a Business Support Manager, Executive Assistant or Operations professional
  • Previous legal experience, ideally with exposure to property law, or experience supporting the property industry
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • The ability to confidently manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with exceptional attention to detail
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to build strong working relationships
