Claims Manager
About the Role Based in the Brisbane office in Milton, you'll join a close-knit team of five Claims Managers, working alongside experienced brokers and supported by a National Claims Manager, Chief Claims Officer and dedicated Claims Team Leaders.
You'll be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio of claims across:
- Commercial Property
- Liability
- Motor & Fleet
- General Insurance
- Some Personal Lines
Unlike many claims positions, this is a true
end-to-end claims management role. You'll advocate for your clients throughout the entire claims lifecycle, liaising with insurers, assessors, repairers and other stakeholders to achieve the best possible outcome.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage claims from lodgement through to settlement
- Provide proactive advice and exceptional service to clients throughout the claims process
- Negotiate with insurers and third parties to maximise claim outcomes
- Maintain accurate claim records and provide regular client updates
- Build strong relationships with brokers, insurers and service providers
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures
About You To be successful, you'll have:
- 3-5 years' experience managing general insurance claims
- Experience gained within a brokerage, insurer or loss adjusting environment
- A strong understanding of the broker-client relationship
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- A stable employment history and a desire to build a long-term career
