Client Services Assistant
This is a rare opportunity to become an integral part of a firm that has been building exceptional client relationships for 40 years, where professional integrity and team collaboration are everything.
Working alongside a supportive and seasoned senior team member, you will be a go-to person who helps ensure the smooth, day-to-day operations of a busy accounting team, giving you the chance to develop your skills and grow with the firm.
About the Role This is a hands-on, varied position where you’ll be a crucial point of support for a team of dedicated financial professionals. You'll play a key role in ensuring that every client interaction and every piece of work meets the high standards that the firm is known for.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the preparation and lodgment of ATO and ASIC documents.
- Managing client onboarding and set-up, ensuring a seamless start to the relationship.
- Providing a professional first impression with clients as part of reception cover.
- Handling annual company statements and managing outgoing mail and documentation.
- Supporting the team with general administrative tasks, including meticulous filing and document management.
- Assisting with compilations and other key project-based work.
- Being a reliable support for the team's day-to-day needs, from coffee runs to general errands.
About You The firm is looking for someone who thrives on a challenge and genuinely loves helping people. You're the type of person who is a natural problem-solver, with an eagle eye for detail and a genuine commitment to quality. You’ll be comfortable working both independently and as part of a small, collaborative team, and you’ll have a client-focused mindset. This role would be a great fit for someone from a similar-sized accounting firm who values broad knowledge over being limited to one task.
Required Experience:
- Ideally 2–3 years’ experience in a similar Business Support role within a public practice accounting firm.
- Experience with ASIC-related tasks is beneficial, but the firm is happy to provide training to the right person.
- Proficiency with accounting and practice management software is highly regarded.
Why You’ll Love Working Here The firm's culture is built on the belief that a great team is everything. It's a place where relationships matter, and every team member is genuinely supported and valued for their contributions. You'll be joining a professional and culturally diverse team that operates as one.
- Mentorship: You will work directly with a supportive senior team member who is committed to your development and have direct access to experienced professionals invested in your success.

- Social & Collaborative: Join a social club with monthly early Friday finishes for drinks and enjoy regular monthly morning teas.
