Client Services Coordinator Client Services Coordinator

About the Role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Client Services Coordinator to join a close-knit public practice accounting firm based in the Brisbane Inner Suburbs.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys having ownership over their workload and being the person who keeps things moving behind the scenes.

You’ll work closely with accountants and the wider team, managing a range of client services and administration responsibilities across the practice. From coordinating ATO requirements and lodgement lists through to managing income tax return programs and client offboarding, you’ll play an important role in keeping the practice organised and deadlines on track.

The systems and processes can be taught — what’s important is that you already understand how a public practice accounting firm operates and can confidently manage competing priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage your own portfolio of client services and administration tasks.
  • Coordinate and maintain ATO lodgement lists.
  • Assist with managing income tax return programs and key deadlines.
  • Complete ATO-related administration and follow up outstanding requirements.
  • Manage client offboarding and associated documentation.
  • Maintain accurate client records and ensure information is kept up to date.
  • Provide administrative support to accountants and senior team members.
  • Coordinate workflow and follow up outstanding actions where required.
  • Assist with general client administration and communication.
  • Contribute to a smooth and organised office environment.
  • Support the wider team during busy periods and step in where needed.
About the Firm

You’ll be joining a family-run accounting firm of around 20 people where culture genuinely matters.

Based in a lovely Brisbane suburb, the firm offers the convenience of being close to the city without the CBD commute and comes with onsite parking.
The office itself is modern but has a distinctly homely feel, with breakout rooms, comfortable lounge areas, massage chairs, a fully equipped kitchen and a fireplace for winter.

The team is diverse in both age and background, and there's a real emphasis on making everyone feel included. Cultural celebrations such as Chinese New Year are embraced, while monthly Friday drinks provide an opportunity for the team to switch off and enjoy some time together.

It’s a professional environment, but not one where you’ll feel like just another number.

What's on Offer
  • A stable role within a growing public practice environment.
  • A genuinely friendly and supportive team.
  • Modern Woolloongabba office.
  • Onsite parking.
  • 8:30am – 5:00pm working hours.
  • Flexibility around appointments and occasional personal commitments.
  • A family-first culture where people are encouraged to support one another.
  • Opportunity to develop your public practice knowledge and take ownership of your role.
  • Competitive salary, with the package open to negotiation based on experience.
The Person

The most important requirement is previous accounting practice experience.

You might currently be working as a Client Services Coordinator, Client Services Administrator, Practice Administrator, Team Assistant or in a similar public practice support role. You’ll be confident managing your own workload, comfortable working to deadlines and understand the importance of keeping accountants and clients on track. Experience with the ATO, lodgement lists, income tax return programs and client offboarding will be highly regarded.

Beyond the technical experience, we're looking for someone who is a genuine team player. You’ll be organised, proactive and approachable, with the confidence to ask questions, follow things up and take ownership rather than waiting to be told what to do.

If you're someone who enjoys public practice, likes being busy and wants to work somewhere that genuinely values its people, this could be an excellent opportunity to make your next move. Apply Now
