Debt & Loan Recovery Lawyer (Remote)
The Andersen Partnership have been instructed to find an Associate or Senior Associate to join the team of one of their clients on a permanent basis with the
opportunity to work either fully remote or on a hybrid basis. Our client is a new, small team of lawyers who are the legal arm of a company who partner with commercial lending businesses to accelerate growth. Our client act for 3 main lenders and manage all of the legal matters/disputes relating to debt recovery & loan recovery. The successful lawyer will be responsible for:
- Managing home loan recoveries work for the practice, including notices, proceedings, possession and mortgagee sale work.
- Assisting our clients managing hardship applications.
- Contributing to the growth and development of the business through contribution to business planning, quarterly objectives and champion role.
Lawyers are required to have strong attention to detail, be intuitive, resilient and have solid litigation & court experience for this role. You must also have the ability & confidence to work autonomously.
The team currently consists of the practice director and a paralegal but they are keen to grow the team, bringing in a lawyer in each of NSW & VIC.
The role is fully remote but they do also have three shared work spaces in Sydney if the successful lawyer wanted to work in the office. Benefits include a competitive salary, flexibility and a bonus structure which is % of salary package paid each January based on individual & team performance.
