Intermediate Accountant
THE ROLE As an intermediate Business Services & Taxation Accountant you'll:
- Prepare a wide range of financial statements & tax returns for various entities. Prepare investor and high net worth individual tax returns, including those those with foreign income. Deliver tax, accounting, and business advisory services.
- Work alongside senior staff members whilst being trained on managing larger and more complex clients. You will usually be working directly with the partner on most engagements.
- You will communicate directly with clients on jobs and be looking to manage your own clients list of clients in the short term.
- Collaborate with the Partner and Manager's.
WHAT YOU BRING The ideal candidate should have:
- More than 2 years of experience in an Australian accounting firm is required.
- Must hold an accounting degree.
- Undergoing/looking to begin the CA/CPA program.
- Prior experience in preparing financial statements and tax returns.
- Working knowledge of Division 7A, CGT and PSI is preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills and a want to have a forward facing role.
- Experience using Xero is preferred
- A positive, collaborative attitude.
- Must be an Australian permanent resident.
