A respected plaintiff law firm is seeking a Legal Assistant to join its busy Employment & Industrial Relations team. You’ll work closely with lawyers on active matters, support a high-volume file load, and act as a key client contact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
The Opportunity: - Managing legal files from commencement through to completion
- Filing and document management
- Liaising with clients and providing exceptional customer service
- Coordinating appointments and diary management
- Supporting lawyers to ensure matters progress efficiently
- Thriving in a fast-paced practice with quick turnaround times
About you:
The ideal candidate will have:
- Around 1–2 years' experience in litigation, or slightly less with strong client-facing administrative experience and highly transferable skills
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive, adaptable and positive attitude
- Outstanding communication skills and a genuine passion for client service
- A desire to build a long-term career in legal support
- A values-driven approach and the ability to work compassionately with individual clients
