About the Opportunity

We're partnering with a highly respected accounting and advisory firm to recruit an experienced Practice Manager who thrives on creating structure, driving operational excellence, and supporting high-performing teams.
Reporting directly to the leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role in overseeing the firm's day-to-day operations across business support, finance administration, compliance, people and culture, and technology. This is a varied, hands-on leadership role where you'll have genuine influence on how the business operates and continues to grow.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operational management of the practice.
• Oversee finance administration, including payroll, expenses, WIP, billing and reporting.
• Manage supplier relationships, facilities, office operations and business services.
• Coordinate HR administration, recruitment, onboarding, training and employee engagement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory, insurance and business governance requirements.
• Drive operational improvements, system enhancements and process efficiencies.
• Partner with leadership to support strategic initiatives and business performance.
• Act as the key liaison across technology, practice management systems and external providers.

About You

You'll be an organised, proactive leader who enjoys improving processes and supporting people to do their best work.

You'll ideally bring:

• Previous experience as a Practice Manager, Operations Manager or Office Manager within an accounting or professional services environment.
• Strong financial and operational management skills.
• Experience managing compliance, business administration and practice systems.
• Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills.
• A continuous improvement mindset with the ability to implement new processes and systems.
• Confidence working across multiple priorities while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
