The Role:
As a Senior Accountant, you’ll be responsible for the preparation of financial statements and tax returns for a variety of entities. You'll also provide valuable business advisory services to help clients achieve their financial goals. You’ll have the opportunity to find solutions, solve complex issues, and help review the work of junior team members, while still enjoying a balanced workload.
Key Responsibilities: - Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and business advisory for various clients.
- Work on Div7A and other compliance-related areas.
- Identify issues, develop solutions, and advise clients accordingly.
- Opportunity to review and mentor junior staff.
About You: - 5+ years of experience in an accounting role, with strong technical experience.
- Solid understanding of tax, accounting, and business advisory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A genuine “care factor” for your clients, your team, and the firm.
- Review experience is highly regarded but not essential.
- Xero experience is preferred.
