Senior Accountant
Kent Town, Adelaide | Full-time We are currently recruiting a
Senior Accountant on behalf of a well-established boutique accounting firm.
The firm has a team of around
70 people, including 50 staff based locally and 20 offshore, and works with a diverse client base ranging from SMEs through to larger businesses with
$1m–$50m+ turnover.
With a strong client base across
construction, hospitality, trades and plumbing, the firm takes a holistic approach to accounting and works closely with business owners across the full business lifecycle.
The Role This is a hands-on Senior Accountant position where you will manage a portfolio of clients and oversee the
full accounting process from start to finish, including:
- Financial accounts and tax returns
- BAS and compliance
- Management reporting
- Tax planning and business advisory
- Working directly with business owners
- Reviewing and delegating work to junior and offshore team members
- Building strong, long-term client relationships
About You
- Australian public practice experience
- CA qualified or working towards qualification
- Strong accounting and tax knowledge
- Confident managing clients independently
- Commercially minded and solutions-focused
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience with construction, trades, plumbing or hospitality is advantageous
