Senior Accountant - No timesheets!

The Opportunity
You'll take ownership of your own client portfolio while leading a dedicated pod consisting of a Senior Accountant, Accountants and a Client Services Coordinator, all supported by a dedicated technical reviewer.
Your role will include:
Reviewing tax returns, BAS and financial statements prepared by your team
Leading client meetings including tax planning, strategy sessions and annual reviews
Delivering advisory projects including restructures, business valuations, cash flow improvement and Virtual CFO engagements
Building long-term relationships with SME clients and becoming their trusted adviser
Mentoring and developing your team while maintaining exceptional client service
Contributing to business development by growing your own portfolio and converting warm opportunities

You'll ideally bring:
5+ years' experience within public practice accounting
CA qualified (or nearing completion)
Experience reviewing work and managing client relationships
A passion for advisory and helping business owners succeed
Leadership experience or the desire to lead and develop a team
Ambition to progress your career into Senior Manager and beyond
