The Position
This role represents an exciting opportunity to take full ownership as a Client Manager, leading your own dedicated team and portfolio of clients. It is perfectly suited for an ambitious Senior Accountant, Supervisor, or
Assistant Manager who is ready to take the next definitive step up in their career.

Key Responsibilities
1. Client Relationship & Strategy Management
Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing clients, managing communication seamlessly. Lead initial new client consultations to identify business objectives, pain points, and growth pathways. Conduct strategic client meetings and deliver high-value business advisory services. Provide proactive strategic tax planning and corporate structuring advice to optimize client outcomes.

2. Team Leadership & Workflow Quality
Manage, allocate, and monitor your team's workflow to ensure key deadlines are consistently met. Review complex accounting work performed by your team members, with a strong emphasis on strategic quality and accuracy. Actively mentor, train, and develop junior and intermediate accountants within your division.

3. Technical Tax & Advisory Delivery
Oversee and deliver top-tier Business Advisory reports, including detailed cashflow projections and forecasting.

Ensure absolute precision across all areas of tax and compliance, maintaining high standards for the portfolio.

Skills and Experience Required
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience working within a Public Practice accounting
  • firm.
  • Technical Review: Proven capability to train junior staff and perform rigorous reviews on financial statements, tax returns, BAS, tax planning, and advisory reports.
  • Client Management: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with demonstrated experience directly managing client relationships.


Compliance Mastery: Advanced proficiency in preparing financial statements, tax returns, and BAS end- to-end at a high level.

Advisory & Tax Planning:
Moderate to high level of knowledge in complex Tax Planning and Business
Advisory (e.g., corporate structuring, Capital Gains Tax (CGT), Div 7A, and GST frameworks).
Systems: Strong hands-on experience utilizing modern cloud ecosystems, specifically Xero and
