You'll work alongside experienced Partners, advise a quality client base on complex tax matters, and play a key role in developing the next generation of accountants.

The Opportunity As Tax Manager, you'll lead a diverse portfolio of clients across advisory and compliance while supporting and developing a team of accountants.

Your role will include:

• Managing complex tax advisory and compliance engagements
• Providing strategic advice around restructures, succession planning, international tax, consolidations and tax planning
• Reviewing income tax returns, BAS, IAS, FBT and tax effect accounting
• Advising clients on legislative changes, tax risk and technical matters
• Mentoring and coaching junior and senior team members
• Working closely with Partners on client strategy and business development
• Driving high-quality client outcomes while continually improving internal processes

About You We're looking for someone who enjoys the technical side of tax but also values building relationships and developing people.

Ideally you'll have:

• CA or CPA qualification
• 6+ years experience within public practice accounting
• Strong technical knowledge across income tax, CGT, FBT, Division 7A and tax advisory
• Experience managing complex private business and corporate clients
• Previous leadership or mentoring experience
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex tax matters in a practical way
