An exciting opportunity has become available for a Team Assistant to join their Business Advisory team. This is a varied and fast-paced role suited to someone who enjoys being the organisational hub of a busy team and takes pride in delivering exceptional administrative support.

The Role

As the Team Assistant, you will provide administrative and corporate secretarial support to Partners, Managers and Accountants while ensuring clients receive a seamless service. This position plays an integral role in establishing client entities, maintaining compliance records and supporting the smooth day-to-day operations of the team.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Entity Establishment: Preparing documentation to establish companies, trusts and self-managed superannuation funds (SMSFs).
  • ATO Registrations: Managing ABN, TFN and GST registrations and ensuring all registrations are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Corporate Secretarial Support: Preparing and lodging ASIC forms, maintaining corporate records and supporting ongoing entity compliance.
  • Company Compliance: Maintaining company secretarial registers and managing annual company statements through the Corporate Affairs System (CAS).
  • Administration & Team Support: Providing high-quality administrative support to Partners and Accountants, assisting with client correspondence and maintaining accurate electronic records.
  • Process Improvement: Contributing to the continuous improvement of templates, systems, processes and workflows to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Reception Support: Providing reception coverage and assisting with incoming calls during peak periods or planned leave to support the wider team.

You are a proactive and highly organised administration professional who thrives in a busy, client-focused environment. You enjoy supporting multiple stakeholders, have exceptional attention to detail and pride yourself on delivering work of the highest standard.
To be successful in this role, you will bring:
  • Previous experience in a Team Assistant, Client Services, Administration or Corporate Secretarial role within an accounting, legal or professional services environment.
  • Experience preparing ASIC documentation and managing ATO registrations will be highly regarded.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a professional approach to client service.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience using practice management or corporate secretarial software such as CAS will be advantageous.
  • A collaborative attitude with a willingness to support colleagues across the business.
