About the Company Our client is a specialist provider of outsourced Trust Accounting and compliance services to Real Estate agencies across Australia. Working with agencies of all sizes, they deliver end-to-end Trust Account management, compliance support and bookkeeping solutions, allowing their clients to focus on growing their businesses.
Due to continued growth, they're looking to add an experienced Trust Accountant to their close-knit team.
The Role You'll manage a portfolio of Real Estate agency clients across Australia, ensuring Trust Accounts are maintained accurately and in line with legislative requirements. Key Responsibilities - Manage Trust Accounting for a portfolio of Real Estate agency clients
- Ensure compliance with relevant Trust Accounting legislation across Australia
- Complete end-of-month reconciliations, settlements and disbursements
- Process deposits, receipting and Trust Account transactions
- Maintain accurate records and meet reporting deadlines
- Work across industry-specific Trust Accounting software
- Provide exceptional support to clients via phone and email
About You - Current Real Estate Licence (any Australian state or territory)
- 3+ years' Trust Accounting experience
- Strong understanding of Trust Accounting legislation and compliance
- Experience using Real Estate Trust Accounting software
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong communication skills with a client-first approach
- Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
Desirable - Experience with ticketing or workflow management systems
- Exposure to residential and commercial property transactions
- Ability to learn new systems quickly
- Positive attitude and a collaborative approach
